All staff have been very friendly and pleasant, the restaurant food is excellent. Bonus.... i checked in on Friday and the restaurant lounge had a live singer and she was excellent.

I couldn't have chosen a better hotel for our vacation! The first impression left by the receptionist who greeted us was truly outstanding. As someone with many years of experience in the hospitality industry, I can attest that the service was top-notch! To my delight, all the receptionists were so wonderful! They especially excel in their roles and do their jobs excellently! Bravo Clissy, Darlyn, and Ray! Breakfast was a wonderful surprise; everything was so delightful and excellent. Every morning we could choose what we wanted for breakfast, and everything was served promptly. Once again, the F&B team was amazing! They make your mornings beautiful! Wonderful! Bravo Kyle, Tiffany, Rena Rose, Belle! Of course, I can't forget the hardworking people who were always there to greet us, Yancy and Maro! And one more compliment, this time for the lovely, diligent OJTs! They are truly wonderful and hardworking, always there for guests with whatever they need, and they put in a lot of effort! Bravo dear Jhennylou, Shaina, Izza and Jean Rose! All together, they left such a wonderful impression that we are already planning our next visit to your hotel!

Very touristy resort vibe. I'm not typically that kind of person and prefer more centrally located properties but location is excellent for unwinding and watching the water and catching yourself. Definitely not walkable to anywhere - need a taxi to get around. Hotel staff were exceptional and even when room AC started giving problems, worker came quickly and remedied problem with clogged drain line and room service staff came when I needed to change soaked bath mat very quickly as well.

loved the staff , the beach and the quiet .staff was so accommodating I felt like family .sharp looking, attractive and well dressed . professional demeanor but warm and friendly . the food for the most part was excellent , except for one ooopsi on the chef's part. I think he deep fried my hamburger , it was really gnarly 🤣

Mactan Sotogrande is located in a quiet area, has a private pool and was perfect for my Dad who preferred peace and quiet whilst on holiday to visit our family in the Philippines.

I give excellent rate and five stars to this hotel because they exceed my expectations. I made a special request for my mom's birthday staycation and the staff were really nice and great because they welcome her a happy birthday song and gave her cupcakes and complimentary drinks. I love how they provide excellent service to their guest. Sotogrande hotel and resort is recommended! Thank you to all the staff who were working their that time and I hope the management will also recognize their effort especially to those people who really made my request granted from the front desk, restaurant staff and management. Thank you so much! My mom is really happy on her special day!

I liked the room with 2 big double beds, the location near Mactan Newtown (looks safe), then the possibility to use Vistamar beach and pool (ckeaner than LaMirada). But it will be good, if the hotel will offer some free van or something like that, so the acommodants can be transfered in some near place (at least). Unfortunately they didnt offered anything like this, needed to ride the local type of transportation.

Room: Spacious, it was comfortable and had enough space to relax. solid 8/10. Pool: Nice pool—likely well-maintained and enjoyable. I’d give it a 7.5/10. Breakfast: Super breakfast, both in quality and variety. I loved the champorado! A solid 9/10 for breakfast. Value for money: At 2700 with 2 free breakfast included, is a good deal, so I'd give the overall value a 9/10.

A wonderful 5 nights to lay by the two pools and enjoy the local beers, cocktails and delicious food available assisted by exceptional staff. Breakfast was a generous serving and the room was a good size with a lovely view of the water and surroundings from the balcony. Classic old style architecture in the original building around the pool and restaurant area and represented good value for money An easy 15 minute walk into Newtown for me or quick taxi or scooter ride for cafes and other varieties to eat for both modern and traditional/local tastes. This area provided ATMs and banks plus a supermarket and 7-11 convenience stores plus laundromats for washing clothes

The pool in their partner Vista Mar. Really nice with an amazing view of the beach. I like how secluded it is. I think it’s an advantage in itself. The room was spacious too.
